We are excited to be hosting volunteers again. A big part of our ministry is accomplished through the support of volunteers. It has been a long year with very few volunteers and lots of pandemic related restrictions. We are pleased to announce that restrictions are lifted, our staff is full vaccinated and we are ready to get to work with your help.
We are once again asking for and scheduling volunteers at both our St. Louis and Oklahoma locations. We have plenty of work to do for both skilled and unskilled labor and for individuals or groups. Here is a short list of what we need to get done this summer.
St. Louis -
We have over a dozen homes of seniors on our Community Pastoral Care Network that need repairs that these seniors cannot afford. Our goal is to keep them in the home they own. Each of these jobs require cash and skilled labor. Consider forming a small group with some skills to help us take care of our seniors.
We have 5 properties in St. Louis that are in need of full rehab or repair. These jobs need skilled workers in a variety of fields.
We have some neighborhood wide clean up needed. These projects are great for larger groups of unskilled workers.
Bartlesville Oklahoma -
We are finishing the rehab on a house that we hope will become our first Harvest Fields Cafe. This project needs smaller groups or individuals with basic carpentry or drywll skills. You don't need to be professional but a DIY level skill.
Everywhere -
We have developed ways for you to volunteer from home no matter where you live. We call it Virtual Volunteering.
