Planting Churches without Church Planting
Sun Ministries is a missionary organization. Over our 18 year history we have had dozens of missionaries on staff. As with anything else you do, there is a learning curve involved. Our goal with our missionaries is not to form institutional churches. It is to train ministers to live and work in any environment to impact their community for the Kingdom of Jesus!
Last year we formalized our missionary training into an online course called New Testament Christianity. A year later we have over 100 students enrolled in the seminary alternative certification course. The course is free but is designed as a college level training program. Graduates can attend a leadership level training that will be held on location in the USA and will combine classroom and on location training. Other training modules are being developed now for specialized areas of ministry. These will include Pastoring your Community, The Narrow Gate Program, Strongholds and Healing and Spritual Warfare.
For years we have tried to train those that were on our staff. Now we have opened our training to any Christian that wants to learn to minister more effectively. You can learn more about the training at Dr. Terry M. Goodwin's training ministry web site linked below.
