Since its inception, Sun Ministries has been recruiting, training and relocating missionaries to America. We have limited the process to those that were already living in America. Starting now, we are opening the opportunity to those outside the USA.

 

We have had the privilege of training many Christians from other countries, but we did not allow them to become missionaries with our group. We are recognizing that God is calling some of them to minister here in America. We continue to watch the decline in both professing Christians and church attendance here in America. We see this as a preparation for a great move of revival and reformation.

 

[Mat 9:36-37 NKJV] 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly [is] plentiful, but the laborers [are] few.

 

We also see this reality today. There are so many that have left the institutional forms of church. They appear to be scattered. We long to see a return to the organic nature of the New Testament church. However, the large majority of church leaders are equipped in seminaries to lead and run institutional churches.

 

Starting now, we are partnering with the Disciple Driven Church Training Center for all of our missionary training. The training focuses on the Biblical instruction for church structure and leadership. It consists of two courses. The first is – New Testament Christianity. This course can be taken from anywhere in the world where an internet connection is available. The Second Course is New Testament Church Leadership. It is a two week on location, hands on training near St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

 

Those who complete both course can qualify to apply to become missionaries to America with Sun Ministries. The Training Center is open now and accepting applications for the first course. You can learn more at www.discipledrivenchurch.org.
