Last week our Board of Directors voted to sell our property that is currently used as our Leadership Center and use the proceeds to purchase 15 – 30 acres of land to build the Sozo Valley Ranch. This will relocate the headqyarters of the ministry from the inner city to a more rural location. This is the first in a series of BLOGS to help explain the purpose of the move.

The vision of Sun Ministries is as follows -

Sun Ministries exists to launch Apostolic movements of disciple multiplication that reach all the nations of the earth and fill it with the glory of God.

Our mission describes how we do this -

Sun Ministries trains, empowers and releases the redemptive communities that emerge from its disciple multiplication to live out Isaiah 61 and support the apostolic vision of reaching the nations.

We describe Redemptive Communities as groups of leaders dedicated to the redemptive purposes of God. They work as teams to multiply disciples and launch apostolic movements. Sozo Valley Ranch will become the training center for these teams.

We currently have 50 missionary applicants and 135 students enrolled in our New Testament Christianity Online Course. In order to complete the training process for these ministers, we need a place to bring them for extended periods of time to engage them personally, train them in person and take them out to minister. Sozo Valley Ranch will be this training Center.

The ranch will have a training center and housing for students where they can come for extended periods of time to reteat into nature, be taught the ways of God and engage in missionary work with our seasoned and highly trained staff. The ranch will also provide us space to bring new missionaries for internships as they transition into being full time missionaries to America.

We are very excited about this transition and new challenge. We feel it is an essential next step in accomplishing the vision we have set out to do. If you would like to contribute or participate in any way please contact us.
